World Health Organisation

World Mental Health Day, on 10th October is a day for us to unite in our efforts to improve the mental health of people around the world … every 40 seconds someone loses their life to suicide.

  • to improve awareness of the significance of suicide as a global public health problem
  • to improve knowledge of what can be done to prevent suicide
  • to reduce the stigma associated with suicide
  • to let people who are struggling know they are not alone

Put simply, this is an opportunity to show you care … take part for 40 seconds in a way that works for you … reach out & talk to someone to make a difference your way.
