PROCESS / TIMESCALE

STEPS

  1. discuss with Psychiatrist Dr Singh
  2. discuss with GP Dr Charles / iM leaflet / iM biz card
  3. my iM website research
  4. initial phonecall to iM / reception / opt in to service
  5. book a telephone assessment
  6. complete a telephone assessment
  7. offered Talking Therapy = Counselling for Depression
  8. Therapist Barbara Lamb rang to arrange 1st session / date & time
  9. I drove to Woodside to time car journey / find iM premises
  10. iM session notebook

Therapist  = Barbara Lamb   2016 – 2017

  • phone consultation = Counselling for Depression & Anxiety
  • agreed 6 sessions not enough so = 20 sessions !
  • tuesday @ 9.30 a.m priority in my diary
  • fortnightly appointments with some flexibility
  • meet Barbara at Inclusion Matters central office @ Woodside Birkenhead
  • by phone / by email when not able to drive
  • Consultant psychiatrist Dr Singh & GP LIz Charles
  • my family & close friends Support Group awareness & updates
  • each session preceded by next appointment letter in post
