LEAVING BRACKENWOOD
After much thought and discussion with my close friends & psych team I decided to leave Brackenwood In February 2016. The future timescale regarding my knee replacememt operation was uncertain because it could be months or years away. I couldn’t play any part of the course and was finding that when at the wednesday weekly social meeting constant questions about my knee was very stressful & was getting me down to the extent that i was unwell for a couple of days after. I talked through my reasons with Marj, Bov & Joan who were all disappointed as was I but they understood and agreed that joining Wirral Ladies would be a positive step to keep me golfing. I will be forever grateful for the support I received regarding getting through my tough mum stuff and key knee hospital appointments. It was important to me to leave properly so I wrote a letter to Captain Linda & her committee and gave a photo gift to the club. I have lots of fond memories & have made friends for life for which I am grateful .
Thanks for the friendship, support & encouragement step by step
