My Wobbly World

My bipolar balance daily / weekly / monthly checklist :

  1. Physical Health
  2. Self Care
  3. £ Finances
  4. Productivity
  5. Friends & Family
  6. Golf
  7. Photography
  8. Leisure

Daily monitor … Control :

  1. £
  2. Website work
  3. Alcohol

I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once

I have wobbly days / weekends / weeks when all sorts of trigger & stressors seem to collide in a perfect storm & all come crashing in & leads to a bipolar high phase emotional rollercoaster ride of too much

  • mac website work
  • photography
  • p.m. taxis to my village
  • £ shopping
  • Wirral club golf
  • den tv sky sports live golf or live tennis
  • family & friends iphone texts
  • white wine
  • everything getting quickly out of balance
  • feel I am losing control
  • feel I am losing my confidence
  • high anxiety

Then it can take me up to x3 weeks to recover from during which time I find it hard to see my friends & need to regroup again step by step. I retreat to my house & garden where I feel safe & just drive locally.

Confidence steps back:

  • drive car to Port Sunlight garden centre / £ best plant therapy
  • drive car to Wirral Golf Club / peaceful putting
  • reconnect with a good friend for coffee
  • play x 3 holes golf
  • photography project
  • family at Refreshment Rooms for lunch

It helps to know

  1. when my support group are away on holiday
  2. my medication is at the pharmacy for delivery
  3. that my friends & family are only a text away
